Update: Rumored iPhone 5

While looking through the news the past week, I have seen a lot of articles about the iPhone 5.
As of right now, the iPhone 5 does NOT exist.  People have been saying that it has been 'delayed' and will be announced in the autumn.  This is similar to the decade long rumors of the Apple Tablet.  People were saying that Apple was making a tablet computer.  They would give 'specs' and a date.  As that date would come and go, they would say that the Apple Tablet had been delayed.  They would then give out a new date.  Obviously, after a while, the Apple Tablet rumors turned out to be true.  The product came out last year and is called the iPad.  Long story short, you can NOT delay a product if it hasn't been announced and a deadline hasn't been given out.  The iPhone 5 and iPad 3 haven't been given either.  I urge everyone to look at these 'announcements' skeptically.  If the announcement doesn't come from Apple or who ever the maker of said product is, you cannot take it seriously.  Sony announced last month that because of the crisis in Japan after the earthquake, they would not be able to keep their 'promise' to Apple in supply cameras for the iPhone 5.  In my opinion, this was just a PR stunt.  More than likely, Apple will be making their own cameras, just like the iPod touch 4th generation, iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, and iPad 2.
