Microsoft To Reveal Windows 8 Details
Microsoft plans to disclose new details about the architecture and capabilities of its forthcoming Windows 8 operating system in the coming weeks to prepare developers and users for what it calls the most significant overhaul of its OS since it released Windows 95 -- which introduced the Task Bar, Start menu, and other iconic features -- more than 15 years ago.

Look out, your next iOS device may do away with that fussy charging cable and cradle. In its place? A pair of earbuds. Yep, I said earbuds. Those things you stick in your ears to listen to music, or maybe use to lasso a pen off your desk if you're lazy (as well as adept at making lassos out of earphones, which probably means you'd be great in a circus, too).

Some might say it was only a matter of time, but it finally happened - Apple is the most valuable publicly traded company, beating ExxonMobil for the top spot. Apple temporarily overtook ExxonMobil on Tuesday, but ended the day second.

Ring of Antimatter Found in Earth's Orbit
The earth has a ring of antimatter encircling it, says newdata from the Pamela space satellite, a multinational project aimed at studying the planet’s magnetosphere. The discovery has fueled speculation that the antimatter might someday be harvested to power advancedspacecraft.
