After a two-month wait, AT&T is finally rolling out the update that will allow the Motorola Atrix access the 4G upload speeds on its HSUPA network.
AT&T received heavy criticism from Atrix owners during the phone's launch period in February for essentially blocking the phones from accessing the 4G network.
For those less tech-savvy Atrix owners, we still think it's misleading to label the Atrix as a 4G phone when it doesn't have access to the network.
Hopefully this update resolves the issue for good.
If you have an Atrix, the update will start rolling out over the next few days. You'll receive a notification to install it when it's ready on your device.
We'd also like to hear from those of you who have the update already. Have you noticed faster speeds?
