HP Sets Sights on Rivals With webOS Software

Hewlett-Packard Co. will soon include its webOS system for smartphones on all its PCs, upcoming tablet computer and higher-end printers, putting it in competition with operating software from Apple, Google and Microsoft.

Microsoft Earns More from Android than Windows Phone 7

It turns out that a lot of people haven't been paying attention. Over the weekend, a story about how Microsoft is earning more from HTC's Android devices than from its own Windows Phone 7 sales spread all across the web, with surprised reactions everywhere. Anyone who has been paying attention to Microsoft's recent patent trolling regarding Android could've seen this coming.

Bugs Continued

Hey all.  You might have noticed that I haven't updated my blogs in a week or so.  I have not been able to access my account to update the blogs.  Even now, it appears that the servers are down for some reason.  I am struggling to type this out on my LG Ally Google Android Phone running Froyo.2 (2.2.2).  I have contacted Google about the problems and I hope that they can resolve the problems soon.

Developer: iOS 4.3 for Verizon probably not coming anytime soon


It has been a month and a half since AT&T iPhone owners received an update to iOS 4.3 and still Verizon iPhone owners are stuck in the limbo of iOS 4.2.

BlueStacks Runs Android Apps On Windows PCs

BlueStacks is a small company backed by Ignition Ventures, Radar Partners, Helion Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, and Andreessen Horowitz. BlueStacks recently scored a $7.6 million Series A financing round from these companies based on its new software, which ports Android applications over to any x86 device running Windows.
